- Oversee and manage all aspects of the proposal process. This includes organizing, planning, writing, editing, document formatting, updating, and tracking all phases of the proposal/production process. The individual must be flexible as position demands evening and weekend work from time to time.- Review, analyze, and organize requirements to ensure 100% compliance with the Request for Information (RFI)/ Request for Proposal (RFP).- Collaborate, and work closely with the Proposal Team to understand the products or services being bid and prepare all supporting and written documentation for the assigned proposal.- Work closely with the Capture Manager to gain understanding of Capture Plan, win strategies, and key discriminators.- Develop proposal outline; compose, design, maintain, coordinate, edit, proofread all proposals; and oversee the printing, collating, binding, and shipping/delivery of all proposals. Includes desktop publishing to create and/or capture necessary graphics including screen captures, photos, process flow chart, etc.- Develop and manage proposal schedules, work assignments, and resource allocations.- Prepare, schedule, and lead Proposal Kick-off Meetings- Schedule and lead proposal strategy meetings to discuss win themes and proposal-specific initiatives.- Support the development of all standard proposal sections: Management, Technical, Past Performance, Transition Plans, Key Personnel Resumes, Cost/Price Narrative, Highest Technically Rated Offeror (HTRO) Self-Scoring Matrix, etc.- Schedule, facilitate, participate in, and provide input for all color team reviews, to review and ensure the integrity of the assigned proposal for compliance with the RFP.- Integrate inputs from multiple authors and contributors into a cohesive document with RFP-compliant formatting and style.- Conduct regular proposal status meetings to include subcontractors/team members.- Review proposal text and provide direction to authors.- Develop and edit proposal sections, as needed.- Identify and analyze proposal development problems, develop solutions, and implement solutions in collaboration with senior managers and executives.- Maintain document configuration management and control.

We support customers with Centers of Excellence in Washington DC, Huntsville, AL and Burlington, MA with an additional 36 locations across the U.S.Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Sprint Planning and Execution Lead as this position will support the Tactical Data Networks Enterprise (TDNE) branch, which is within the USAF C3I and Infrstructure Directorate and located at Hanscom AFB, MA. The Tactical Data Networks Enterprise (TDNE) contributes to the development, delivery and deployment of the next generation aerial layer network through a portfolio of legacy and advanced waveforms and airborne network management/development efforts that advance interoperability and connectivity. The TDNE conceptualizes, acquires, and fields aerial layer networking capabilities supporting legacy, current, in-development, future, and proposed systems across all domains of information exchange enabling strike, mobility, special operations, command and control (C2), intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR), air, surface, subsurface and space operations. We support customers with Centers of Excellence in Washington DC, Huntsville, AL and Burlington, MA with an additional 36 locations across the U.S. Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Cybersecurity Systems Engineer as this position will provide Systems Engineering and Systems Cybersecurity expertise to the Tactial Data Network Enterprise (TDNE), which is within the USAF Aerial Networks Division and located at Hanscom AFB,  MA. The Tactical Data Networks Enterprise (TDNE) contributes to the development, delivery and deployment of the next generation aerial layer network through a portfolio of legacy and advanced waveforms and airborne network management/development efforts that advance interoperability and connectivity. ** This position has been approved for 100% remote work   JOB STATUS:  Full time; salaried RESPONSIBILITIES:- Provide systems engineering expertise applied to data and communications systems cybersecurity review, analysis, authorization and testing.- Review, analyze vendor submitted engineering models, drawings, schematics, etc. for recommended cybersecurity system changes and approvals- Ensure that all assigned system and application deliverables meet the requirements of all DoD and Air Force Cyber Security policies- Ensure that system deliverables comply with DoD and Air Force Cyber Security policy, specifically DoDI 8500.01, Cyber Security, and AFI 33-200, Air Force Cybersecurity Program Management.- Ensure that cybersecurity policies are implemented correctly, including compliance with DoD and Air Force Certification and Accreditation policies, specifically Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI) 8510.01, Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD Information Technology, and AFI 33-210, The Risk Management Framework (RMF) for Air Force Information Technology- Support activities and meet the requirements of DoDI 8520.02, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Public Key (PK) Enabling, in order to achieve standardized, PKI- supported capabilities for biometrics, digital signatures, encryption, identification and authentication- Direct Risk Assessments to ensure Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of all Air Force system security incidents, threats and exploits- Initiate and manage RMF packages in accordance with NIST 800-53 requirements- Create and maintain System Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessments Reports (RARs), and Plans of Action & Milestones (POA&Ms) for classified systems- Establish and administer appropriate security systems, policies, standards and procedures in compliance with applicable government and lead directives and guidelines- Develop, review, and approve plans, schedules, and other technical documentation. - Facilitate and support Division meetings and reviews, team building, strategic planning, and other on- and off-site activities.- Configure and validate information system compliance using DISA STIGs, SCAP Compliance Checker (SCC) and STIG Viewer- Assess security control assessment guidance, procedures, and templates, ensuring correct and uniform implementation of the RMF based assessment processes- Ensure system security assessments and audits are completed and documentedQUALIFICATIONS:-  Master’s Degree (MA/MS) and 12 years of experience in Systems Engineering/Cyber Security (5 years DoD)- or Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) and 15 years of experience in Systems Engineering/Cyber Security (5 years DoD)- CompTIA Security+ (highly desired)- CISSP (highly desired)- Must have an active US security clearance. What We Offer - Competitive salaries- Continuing education assistance- Professional development allotment- Multiple healthcare benefits packages- 401K with employer matching- Paid time off (PTO) along with a federally recognized holiday schedule Who We Are  At Astrion, we innovate, elevate, and shape the world of tomorrow.
